We don’t just plan an event, we help unlock core memories that will live rent-free in not only your brain but your guests’ brains, too. Here’s a peek into our process:

THE FIRST DATE

After submitting the inquiry form, we hop on a discovery call to get all the details for your upcoming event to ensure we are on the same page and have your wants and needs embedded into our noggins.

THE DESIGN CAVE

Here we go into full event planning mode and dive into our design cave to create a couple of mood boards and propose a Bougie package and an Extra package that we review and discuss with you to determine the creative direction. Then we have our owl send over the final contract and invoice to secure the date for your event.

THE MAIN EVENT

For the big day, we do all the heavy lifting - both literally and figuratively - by setting up all the decorative elements and dealing with any third-party vendors on your behalf. *insert mental imagery of you enjoying your event with loved ones* After you’ve unlocked some core memories and your event comes to an end, we’re back to attack the breakdown of your event.

THE BIG SCHEME

In the planning stage, we keep you updated throughout the entire process about design choices, decor, third-party vendors, and questions. Prior to the event we will always reach out to you with updates and confirm all details.

You literally just have to show up and we’ll do everything from conception to execution…no detail left untouched.

Entertainment is important for any event, but it’s the atmosphere and the little details that set the mood. But buying all the decor you envision means you’re stuck with it afterward. That’s why renting is ideal! It costs less, you’re not running around endless craft stores, and we can deliver, set up and tear down the decor. You bring the guests and the plan, we’ll bring the rest.

Homemade HQ is a beautiful 650 sq ft micro event and creative space venue in the historic Corn Hill district of Rochester, NY. With this hourly venue, you’'ll have access to what’s already inside of it, like the historic architecture, vaulted ceilings, beautiful furniture and seamless paper backdrops that provide endless possibilities for creating the perfect backdrop for your vision.

What the FAQ?

  • The limit does not exist. But seriously, our minds run amuck with ideas and we love a good challenge, so whatever you have in mind, we are all ears!

  • Once you send your owl with your request, we can get started! All jokes aside, it’s quite simple! Fill out our form here, we hop on a discovery call to get to know you and your event, we propose what we have in mind, you sign all the needed forms and we get to work while you relax.

  • We have an arsenal of vendors that we trust with all that we have to deliver what is needed. Having said that, if you have specific vendors you’d rather work with, we’d be happy to accommodate after a quick chat about it.

  • The number one rule? Don't invite negative energy! Leave that stuff at the door, thank you very much. We want to surround ourselves with good vibes only, 'cause let's be real, life's too short for anything else. But if they somehow sneak their way in, let's show them some love and turn their frown upside down. Who knows, they might just end up being the life of the party too! If they become unruly and we notice signs that they may disrupt your event, we use the power of kind redirect and diffuse.

  • I almost needed binoculars to spot you from all the way over there! But seriously, when it comes to booking us for your event, there's no such thing as being too early. The sooner you reach out, the better chance you have of securing your desired date and giving us plenty of time to obsess over every little detail (in the best way possible, of course). But don't worry, we're no strangers to pulling off a great event with short notice too, so don't hesitate to hit us up!

  • When it comes to handling these unexpected hiccups, our clients are often left wondering, "What emergency?" One big perk of working with a duo like us is that you get two brains for the price of one. That means we can put our heads together and solve any issue before you even have a chance to break a sweat. So go ahead and enjoy that cocktail - we've got your back!

  • We are two crazy people with perfectionist tendencies. If there's a way your event could go awry, chances are we thought of it and have a contingency plan in place. Multiple lists are created for each event to ensure that we know exactly what should be happening and when it’s supposed to be happening. Going in prepared gives us the edge & allows us to make smooth shifts as needed during your event.

  • Ah, the age-old question of "what if you don't have what I want?" Fear not, my friend! We have a serious shopping addiction, so our decor inventory is constantly changing. If you see something you like, we'll buy it. And if there's a specific piece that you absolutely must have, we'll move mountains to make it happen. But if by some rare chance we can't find what you're looking for, it just means that it wasn't meant to be. Trust us, the perfect piece is out there waiting for you!
